Ossetian
A few links about the Indo-European (specifically, Iranian) language of Ossetia:
- A (very) brief description of Ossetian, at the Circle of Ancient Iranian Studies (CAIS) at the SOAS.
- Online Ossetian newspaper (in Russian)
- Partial online facsimile of A Grammatical Sketch of Ossetic, by Vaso Abaev
- Some selections of Ossetian lietrature, mostly in translation, including an intro to the Nart sagas (but I thought Stalin was a Georgian …)
- A text sample of anOssetian poem by Kosta Khetagurov. The extract comes from Kenneth Katzner’s The Languages of the World.

Great stuff! As for Georgian, his father is said to be Ossetian (I believe dzhuga is an Ossetian word).

Er, for “Georgian” read “Stalin.”
